FlightSafety Building A New A320 FFS For Haite Aviation In Singapore

FS1000 Sim Will Enter Service In January, 2019

FlightSafety International and Haite Aviation Safety and Training Pte. Ltd. have signed an agreement for the purchase of a full flight simulator for the Airbus A320.  The simulator will replicate both the CEO and NEO versions of the A320 aircraft. The FlightSafety FS1000 simulator will be qualified to Level D and enter service at the Aviation Safety and Training Center in Singapore in January 2019.

Bombardier has named Danny Di Perna as Chief Operating Officer, Aerospace, effective September 15, 2018. In this new position, Danny will report directly to Alain Bellemare, President and Chief Executive Officer, Bombardier Inc. and assume responsibility for leading the company’s aerospace engineering, procurement and transformation functions. Bombardier’s Aerostructures and Engineering Services segment will also report to Danny.

Aireon ALERT Now Open For Pre-Registration

Free, Global Aircraft Locating And Emergency Response Tracking (ALERT) Service Operated By The Irish Aviation Authority (IAA)

Aireon and the Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) announced today, that Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs), Aircraft Operators, Regulators and Search and Rescue Organizations can now pre-register for their free, global Aircraft Locating and Emergency Response Tracking (ALERT) service. The Aireon ALERT service will provide the last known position of an Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B)-equipped aircraft that is in an apparent distress state or experiencing a loss in communication.
