FlyersRights.org has released a comprehensive Airline Passenger Report Card for all 535 members of Congress. Paul Hudson President of FlyersRights.org and a member of the FAA Aviation Rulemaking Advisory Committee, noted, "The very low scores and grades will come as no surprise to millions of American air travelers. Many members on both sides of the aisle received failing grades."
Consumer Protection Division Notes 12.2 Percent Drop Compared To 2015
Airline consumer complaints filed with DOT’s Aviation Consumer Protection Division during the first six months of this year were down 12.2 percent from the first six months of 2015, according to the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Air Travel Consumer Report released today.

Airlines for America (A4A) is forecasting that 15.6 million passengers will fly in scheduled service on U.S. airlines over the Labor Day holiday period, a 4 percent increase from the 2015 Labor Day period. Airlines will accommodate the growth in travel demand by offering 2.54 million seats per day, an increase of more than 98,000 from the same period last year.
