The first two ATR 72-600 70-seat turboprop regional airliners
were delivered last week to Royal Air Maroc. The aircraft will
allow the Moroccan national airline to reinforce its domestic and
its nearest international network. In 2009 the airline ordered four
ATR 72-600s and two ATR 42-600s, for a total of over $125 million.
The delivery took place in Toulouse in the presence of a Royal Air
Maroc delegation.

The International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT), the certified
union representative of the pilots of Republic Airlines and
Frontier Airlines, has disputed a claim by airline adviser Michael
Cox that a lawsuit filed by the union earlier this month has placed
the financing the company is seeking in jeopardy.
Airbus' Quovadis Subsidiary Supports Nepalese Authorities For
Improved Airport Safety
The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has formed an
alliance with and Qatar Airways and Airbus in an effort to improve
operational safety at Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport,
which is well known for its challenging surrounding terrain. The
airport is expected to benefit from the use of modern Required
Navigation Performance with Authorization Required (RNP AR)
procedures, the implementation of which will be supported by
Airbus’ Quovadis subsidiary.
