Bombardier Delivers AAs First Enhanced CRJ900 NextGen Regional Jet

First Of 30 To Be Operated By PSA Airlines

The first of 30 enhanced CRJ900 NextGen aircraft has been delivered to American Airlines Group Inc. The aircraft will be operated by American Airlines Group wholly owned subsidiary PSA Airlines, Inc. under the American Eagle brand. The purchase agreement for the aircraft, which was announced in December 2013, also included options on an additional 40 CRJ900 NextGen aircraft.

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) announced that American Airlines, FedEx Express and UPS will host the 71st IATA Annual General Meeting (AGM) and World Air Transport Summit in conjunction with Airlines for America, the trade association for the US airline industry. The event will draw the top leadership from the air transport industry to Miami, Florida from June 7– 9, 2015.

Gogo, AA To Add In-Flight Internet On Regional Jets

Installations On New CRJs Expected To Begin In June

Gogo has reached an agreement with American Airlines to begin installing its ATG connectivity service on 30 new Bombardier CRJ-900 NextGen aircraft, which will be delivered to American starting this month. The additional connected aircraft will build on the more than 850 aircraft in American's fleet that are currently equipped with Gogo's In-flight Internet services.
