On June 2nd at a US Navy legal proceeding, referred to as an Admiral's Mast, Capt. Gregory McWherter, the former commanding officer of the U.S. Navy's Blue Angels, was found guilty of violating Uniform Code of Military Justice articles that included failure to obey an order or regulation and conduct unbecoming of an officer. A key agreement has been reached between the FAA, Virgin Galactic, and Spaceport America that will allow commercial flights of SpaceShipTwo. The historic agreement sets out the parameters for how routine space missions launched from Spaceport America will be integrated into the National Airspace System.
