"Interested Parties" Have An Opportunity To Comment
The U.S. DOT proposed to grant antitrust immunity to American
Airlines and four international partners to form a global alliance,
the Department said Saturday in a news release. Under the proposal,
the airlines must agree to conditions to protect consumers and
preserve competition.
British Airways, in partnership with the Solena Group, hopes to
establish Europe's first sustainable jet-fuel plant and plans to
use the low-carbon fuel to power part of its fleet from 2014.
