Small New Mexico Town Lands Big Aircraft Plant

Lawrenceville (GA) American Utilicraft will build an 80,000 sq. ft. plant in the small town of San Juan Pueblo in northern New Mexico, after city economic development leaders agreed to invest big bucks in the company and improve its local airport.

TSA Didn't Break The Law... But Bent It Pretty Good

The TSA didn't break the letter of the law when it asked JetBlue for access to passenger records. DHS wanted to turn them over to a contractor working on the development of the Base Security Enhancement program, designed to assess the terror risk to military facilities worldwide. But the Department of Homeland Security says the TSA pushed the edge of the envelope when it asked for the records and didn't notify the public.

A Chicago-area man is charged with making false statements to the FBI after a Royal Air Maroc flight from New York to Casablanca, Morocco, was diverted on the pilot's authority Thursday night. The plane landed in Bangor (ME) after a passenger made an in-flight phone call to his wife.
