Southwest Airlines, IAM Reach Agreement

Customer Service Agents And Customer Representatives Vote In Favor Of New Contract

Southwest Airlines announced Wednesday that its Customer Service Agents (CSAs) and Customer Representatives (CRs), represented by the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM), have voted in favor of a new four-year contract. The agreement includes pay increases, as well as bonus opportunities that are tied to Company and Employee performance.

Will Take Delivery Of A Mix Of Boeing 737 Aircraft Beginning In 2016

Sunwing Airlines confirmed today that a deal worth $350 million had been finalized with Air Lease Corporation to supply the carrier with two Boeing 737-800 and four 737 MAX 8 aircraft over a four year period commencing in early 2016. The deal represents the largest single financial investment that the company has ever made to increase and upgrade its airplanes; once delivery has been taken the airline's fleet will number 22 year round aircraft.
