Latvian wet-lease charter carrier SmartLynx Airlines has been granted approval to operate in a paperless cockpit environment, using Jeppesen FliteDeck Pro on iPad as its electronic flight bag (EFB) solution. SmartLynx Airlines gained the clearance from the Latvian Civil Aviation Authority to eliminate bulky paper-based flight materials.
