ANA Holdings To Increase Sustainable Activities And Reduce Ecological Impact

By End Of Fiscal Year 2020, ANA HD Will Be Replacing Approximately 70 Percent Of The Single-Use Plastics With Eco-Friendly Products

ANA Holdings (ANA HD) is taking steps to decrease its environmental impact. Effective Feb. 1, 2020, ANA HD will reduce its reliance on single-use plastics inside its cabins and lounges and replacing the plastic straws, stirring sticks and cutlery used in these areas. The plastic straws will be replaced with eco-friendly bioplastic or paper straws while the new stirring sticks and cutlery will be made of wood.

Astronautics Electronic Flight Bags Will Provide Additional Capabilities, Improved Reliability, And Lower Operating Costs

Astronautics Corporation of America is providing Air France upgraded electronic flight bags (EFBs) on the airline’s fleet of Boeing 777 and 787 aircraft. The contract includes upgrading 48 Air France 777s and six 787s.
