Turkish Airlines has ordered three 777 Freighters as the flag carrier of Turkey continues to soar on record financial results and double-digit passenger and cargo growth. The order adds more of the long-range freighter to Turkish's fleet as the airline pursues its goal of becoming the world's largest cargo carrier.

U.S. Airline industry trade organization Airlines for America (A4A), is praising the new Open Skies air service agreement reached between the governments of the United States and United Kingdom that will ensure continued operation of vital transatlantic routes. Both governments' tireless efforts to conclude this new agreement provides the legal framework for the 20 million passengers and more than 900,000 tons of cargo flown between the two countries annually.
