If you thought the capacity cuts announced by several major
airlines for this quarter were deep, get ready for more. That's the
opinion of aviation consultant Michael Boyd, who predicted Monday
that US airline capacity on domestic routes decline further next
year, and falling capacity could spur still more cuts.

the United States and Vietnam have agreed to remove restrictions on
air cargo services between the two countries.
CAE is adding a second Bombardier CRJ full-flight simulator
(FFS) to its Madrid training center, doubling its CRJ platform
capacity in the region. The simulator will be a CRJ200 Level D that
will support the currently installed CRJ200/900 Level D FFS. It is
scheduled to enter into service in early 2009.
