We are sorry to say that another member of the group known as the Tuskegee Airmen has gone west. Dabney Montgomery, a ground crewman who was stationed in Italy with the Tuskegee Airmen in World War-Two has succumbed at the age of 93. Montgomery, born in Selma, Alabama in 1923, was inducted into the service in 1943. While it’s common for the pilots of the Tuskegee Airmen unit to be spoken of the most, it must be remembered that like all units who fought in the war, the pilots could not have been successful without the crews that supported them. R&D Center Opens In Haikou

Kuang-Chi Group, a Shenzhen-based technology conglomerate, has announced that its Traveler II Beta will carry animals into near space during a test flight later this year. The announcement came during the opening ceremony of the company's research center for near space technologies in Haikou, Hainan, China's southernmost province.

Commercial Remote Sensing Report Required By Commercial Space Launch Competitiveness Act

Science, Space, and Technology Committee Chairman Lamar Smith (R-TX), Space Subcommittee Chairman Brian Babin (R-TX) and Environment Subcommittee Chairman Jim Bridenstine (R-OK) have sent a letter to U.S. Department of Commerce Secretary Penny Pritzker on the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) Commercial Remote Sensing Regulatory Affairs.
