Stephan C. Brown has resigned from his post as president/CEO of the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) effective August 17, 2017. Brown provided 10 years of dedicated service, leading the CAF through a transitional period and is responsible for significant accomplishments, including establishing the CAF headquarters in Dallas and initiating a campaign to construct an aviation attraction museum to be built at Dallas Executive Airport. Former CAF vice-president of safety, maintenance and operations, Robert Stenevik will serve as CAF president/CEO until a permanent president is identified. Airbus Completes MetOp-C Platform/Payload Coupling

The Third And Final Satellite Of The First Generation Of MetOp Polar-Orbiting Meteorological Satellites

The payload module of MetOp-C, developed and built by Airbus in Germany, was delivered to Toulouse after it completed a series of tests at ESTEC, the technical center of the European Space Agency (ESA) in Noordwijk, the Netherlands. The satellite, weighing in at four tonnes, is now almost complete after successful coupling of its payload and service module.

The Patron membership category allows for individual involvement and support of CSF, as opposed to CSF’s Executive, Associate, and Educational membership categories, which are reserved for corporations, organizations, and other groups.
