Partner To Bring STEM Opportunities To Online Learners
NASA and Khan Academy, a non-profit educational website, have debuted a series of online tutorials designed to increase student interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, or STEM. The announcement of the new collaborative effort was made at the 6th annual White House Science Fair.
NASA has selected L-3 National Security Solutions (NSS) Inc. of Reston, Virginia, to provide simulation and software technology support to the Engineering Software, Robotics and Simulation Division (SRSD) at the agency's Johnson Space Center in Houston.
