In a speech Thursday before the International Space Development
Conference in Los Angeles, SpaceShipOne designer Burt Rutan took
the opportunity to grill NASA over the agency's decision to use
Apollo-style capsules to ferry astronauts into space -- and,
eventually, the moon -- in the post-shuttle era, instead of a more
inspired design.

has filed suit in Federal court against the National Aeronautics
and Space Administration under the Freedom of Information Act
(FOIA) in order to obtain the names of firms to which NASA has
