Space Adventures Denies Contact With Microsoft Founder
Is the world's richest man aiming even higher? Comments made by
Expedition 15 cosmonaut Fyodor Yurchikhin this week, during a
televised press conference from the International Space Station,
indicate Microsoft founder Bill Gates is considering a flight into
space.
Upstart commercial space travel provider SpaceDev may soon have
some heavy hitters in its corner, as a proposal is in the works for
United Launch Alliance -- a joint venture between Boeing and
Lockheed Martin -- to provide launch vehicles for the company's
Dream Chaser manned spacecraft.
