MultiGP has announced the launch of their 2017 regional race series, allowing drone racers to start qualifying for the 2017 MultiGP Drone Racing Championship, scheduled for Las Vegas this October. Over 5,400 pilots, from more than 450 MultiGP US Chapters, can participate in more than 70 Regional Qualifiers, followed by 14 Regional Finals in July. These events are designed to qualify the top ranked pilots eligible to compete for title of MultiGP Drone Racing Champion. The U.S. House of Representatives on Tuesday approved the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Transition Authorization Act of 2017 (S.442), which cleared the Senate last month. This bipartisan, bicameral legislation reaffirms Congress’ commitment to NASA, and directs the agency to pursue a balanced portfolio of activities.
