SpaceX had a surprising announcement this week signaling that private space tourism may be making some big leaps -- soon. The company announced that it had, “...been approached to fly two private citizens on a trip around the moon late next year. They have already paid a significant deposit to do a moon mission.” SpaceX adds that, “We expect to conduct health and fitness tests, as well as beginning initial training later this year.
