Robert A ‘Bob’ Hoover, who passed away on October 25, has long been held by virtually everyone in the aviation world as, the “Pilot’s Pilot”, and so much more. We at ANN are honored to participate in the Memorial Celebration being held for Bob at the end of this week, and we look forward to bringing the event to you through a live webcast. WorldView-4 Satellite Successfully Launched

Lockheed Martin-Built Spacecraft Will Capture Sharp Images From Nearly 400 Miles Above The Earth

The WorldView-4 commercial remote sensing spacecraft was launched Friday aboard an Atlas V 401 booster. The launch occurred at 10:30 a.m. Pacific Standard Time from Space Launch Complex 3 East from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California.
