Teaming With Five Particle Accelerators Across Europe For The Research
ESA has announced a new program for conducting research into radiation and how to protect astronauts from space radiation. Teaming up with five particle accelerators in Europe, the agency is offering researchers slots to bombard samples with radiation.
ViaSat-3 Class Satellites Complete Critical Design Reviews
ViaSat has completed the Critical Design Review (CDR) milestones for the ViaSat-3 class spacecraft. The payload CDR was successfully completed last week, and when combined with the successful bus CDR, conducted with Boeing in mid-August, ViaSat and Boeing are now moving forward with building, integrating and testing the first two satellites.
