This year saw the retirement of the Space Shuttle Fleet to museums from coast to coast, and sparked a lot of navel-gazing about what is next for America in space. While we continue to buy rides to ISS from Russia, commercial companies made progress towards servicing the station, with SpaceX completing the first non-government delivery to the outpost.
