A Marine Corps F-5 fighter jet had to take immediate and evasive
action to avoid wayward advertising balloons which had broken free
from a nearby car dealership, military officials said.
More than 1,300 military members from the United States, France
and Australia are gathering in the Last Frontier to participate in
Red Flag-Alaska 07-1 scheduled from April 5 to 21.
A system which provides a single pilot with the ability to fly
their own aircraft... while simultaneously directing up to four
further unmanned aircraft has been successfully demonstrated from
the cockpit of a military jet for the first time.
