Business Aircraft Outpaced Commercial, But Not By Much
Bombardier Aerospace announced Friday that it delivered 302
aircraft for the fiscal year ending January 31, 2010, compared to
349 aircraft deliveries in the previous fiscal year 2008/09 (year
ending January 31, 2009).
Anyone looking for growth in the airline industry needs to look
to the Asia/Pacific region, as airlines there could acquire as many
as 8,000 new passenger and cargo aircraft over the next 20
years.
Cessna announced this week at the Singapore Air Show it is set
to deliver the first of five Citation Mustangs ordered by the
Singapore Flying College in Australia to support its advanced
training program.
