It sounds like the barely believable plot to a movie. But, a pilot working for South African Airways for over two decades is being charged with fraud, when it was discovered that he was not properly licensed to fly in scheduled airline service. William Chandler started flying for South African Airways (SSA) back in 1994. Somehow, though, he got away with coming on board with only a commercial certificate and not the ATP required by South Africa's CAA -- Though, some reports indicate that he did present a forged ATP at some point over the years.
