AEM Unveils Newest Loudspeaker System

Delivers High Quality Audio At 142 dB

Anodyne Electronics Manufacturing Corporation (AEM) announced the introduction of its most efficient loudspeaker to date, known as the Loud Hailer System (LHS41) is the newest in loudspeaker system technology. It builds on the high performance of AEM’s existing family of loudspeakers and delivers high audio quality at an impressive sound pressure level of 142 dB.

The LHS41 delivers its notable audio quality and volume output from a highly efficient yet relatively compact mechanical package.

The system consists of the LS800-34DT loudspeaker, LSA800-002 amplifier, and the LSC22-10xN controller that produces its 142 dB output with an extremely low distortion level. The full system weighs in at a slim 36.6 lb or 16.69 kg.

Because of its efficient Direct-Drive loudspeaker drivers, the LHS requires just 800W of peak output power to deliver AEM’s loudest and clearest system manufactured yet.

Its features include:

  • Front-mount auxiliary input allows message transmission from an MP3 player or smartphone
  • Convenient onboard digital storage for fast recording and playback
  • Field-adjustable mic input sensitivity function to boost low level mic signals and reduce feedback
  • Power-saving Direct Drive loudspeaker drivers
  • Unibody loudspeaker chassis construction
  • Standard MIL-STD speaker connectors
  • Standard NVIS-compliant lighting

The LHS41 is designed and qualified to fully meet the operational special roles of both super medium and heavy rotary wing aircraft.
