Long-Standing Customer Receives Keys In Company Celebration

Bombardier announced the delivery of the 100th of its 1,000th Challenger 3500 super midsize bizjet and celebrated the event in a special ceremony at Bombardier’s Challenger delivery center in Montreal, Canada. The aircraft was purchased by long-standing Bombardier customer JM Family Enterprises.

More than 700 Bombardier employees and invitees attended the celebration during which the Bombardier team handed over the ceremonial keys of the Challenger 3500 to JM Family Enterprises as the aircraft was presented to all in attendance.

Éric Martel, President and CEO of Bombardier said, “Reaching the delivery of our 1,000th super-midsize aircraft marks a defining moment for Bombardier. This milestone is a testament to the dedication and exceptional talent of our employees, as well as the trust and loyalty of our customers around the world.

“It holds even greater significance as we are celebrating with a client who shares our family values, entrepreneurial spirit, and commitment to the community. Challenger super-midsize aircraft have been a game changer in the industry as they defined a new business jet segment, and we are excited to continue building on this legacy.”

The Challenger 3500 has been the top-selling jet in its class over the past twenty years and was the most-delivered bizjet in 2024. It is very versatile and shows excellent performance with low direct operating costs. It also integrates several features from the ultra-long range Global 7500 including the innovative Nuage seats.
