48 Amateur Pilots Race From Dayton To Oshkosh
They're off! Forty-eight aircraft are winging their way from
Dayton, OH, to Oshkhosh, WI, in the EAA AirVenture Cup Race.
The race against time falls into six categories depending on
aircraft type and configuration. The race was originally run from
Kitty Hawk, NC, the birthplace of aviation, but was changed last
year to start from Dayton.
This is the seventh annual running of the AirVenture Cup.
