Alteon Training Center Opens at Aerolineas Argentinas

Please Fly For Me, Argentina

Boeing's Alteon Training and Aerolineas Argentinas Friday opened their joint training location near the Ezieza Airport in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The Buenos Aires Training Center is the newest location in the Alteon global network of training centers; the first in South America and the tenth location in the Americas. In addition, Alteon operates numerous training centers in Europe, Asia, Australia and Africa.

This event celebrates the partnership formed between Alteon and Aerolineas Argentinas that brought a 737-300/500 full-flight simulator to the airline's facility. This is the first Level D simulator in Argentina certified to Argentinean DHA (FAA AC-120-40B) standards.  Plans include installation of a flat-panel trainer for the 737 model by year end.

"Through this relationship, Alteon is able to provide local training solutions to Aerolineas Argentinas and surrounding airlines while meeting our commitment to offer more cost-effective training solutions throughout our global network and airline alliances." said Pat Gaines, president of Alteon.
