Government Helping Workers?
American Airlines is showing the door to 500 more employees at
their Kansas City aircraft overhaul facility. These layoffs take
effect in June.
New Owner, New Home
The new owner of Chicago Express intends to move the bankrupt
airline to Indianapolis and hopes to resume operations as early as
Continues Weather Radar Program
The FAA awarded Harris Corporation a 54 month, $57 million
follow-on contract for the Weather and Radar Processor (WARP)
program on Tuesday. Harris will bring in $188 million total by 2009
with this program.
Cites Interference With Existing Traffic
The FAA refused to approve a proposed airport in Park City
stating that instrument landings at the proposed airport would
interfere with traffic at surrounding airports.

The eighth annual Mustangs and Mustangs Car and Vintage Airplane
