Bloomberg Was Not Aboard At The Time
New Jersey State Troopers were not expecting a helicopter
belonging to New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg to arrive at Giants
Stadium before Thursday's U2 concert, and yet, there it was landing
in a shuttle bus parking lot.
Though Bloomberg is a pilot, he was not flying the helo when it
made what was described as a "practice landing" at the stadium.
Pilot Toby Wilson had flown Mayor Bloomberg to New Jersey, who then
took a car the rest of the way to the stadium.
The Associated Press reports Wilson was allowed to leave after
telling the troopers he would not be back. State Police Sgt.
