Diamond Aircraft and FTEJerez announced a firm order for eight DA42 and two DA42 FNPT2 simulators to expand their current fleet. The order, awarded following tough competition that took place over the last year and announced at the Farnborough Air Show, carries a list-price value of $7.3 million, and reflects the strength of this Flight Training Organization in difficult times.

The modern, composite four-seat aircraft is equipped with a Garmin G1000 glass cockpit including GFC700 Automatic Flight Control System which are all air-conditioned to enhance the overall quality of training.
The first two Diamond DA 42-VI expected to arrive at FTEJerez before year-end with further deliveries expected in 2013. Two state-of-the-art new generation Diamond Simulation FNPTII flight training devices will complement the acquisition of the new aircraft.

"We are committed to continue delivering the best future captains to the industry, and to do this we need to use be best equipment.
