Master Instructors LLC recently reintroduced the Aerobatic
Instructor Designation Program. Initially launched in 2007, the
program is an extension of the Master Aerobatic Instructor
designation that became available in 2001.
Multiple sources are reporting that a Glasair flying with a
group from Haller Airport, a small, privately-owned field in Clay
County, Florida went down in a wooded area en route to the St.
Augustine, Florida airport for lunch.
Blackhawks With Buckets Help Extinguish The Flames
Guardsmen from Texas and Oklahoma assisted local firefighters
over the weekend as they worked to extinguish wildfires about 20
miles east of Austin, Texas, and in Major County, OK. Soldiers from
Texas' 1st Battalion, 149th Aviation Regiment responded with two
UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters carrying 600-gallon "Bambi" buckets to
help put out the flames.

The National Association of Flight Instructors (NAFI) is
unveiling the new NAFI Group Membership, aimed at providing
benefits to flight training providers. NAFI developed this
program to meet the needs of businesses and academic institutions
that provide flight training to help their flight instructors stay
in contact with current trends in the flight instruction
People think of Hawaii as an exotic destination, to be sure, but

high-end tourists' Island experience. And more than just
sightseeing trips to the fringe of space, some are envisioning the
use of the commercial suborbital spacecraft as a way to shuttle

7th Sikorsky In The University Of North Dakota Fleet
Sikorsky Global Helicopters, a Sikorsky company, recently
delivered an S-300C helicopter to UND Aerospace at the University
of North Dakota. The university has operated Sikorsky helicopters
in its training program since 1983.
The NTSB has released its preliminary report for an incident in
which an Urban Air SRO UFM-13 Lambada went down after apparently
beginning to break up in mid air. The pilot successfully deployed
the aircraft's ballistic parachute, and was uninjured.
