SMA earned an STC to install its SMA SR305-230 diesel engines in
certain Cessna 182 models in July of this year. Since then, they've
sold six engines in the US, and six in Canada. That may not seem
like many, but SMA is ecstatic about it.
After flying from Wichita, KS in Cessna's (likely? Inevitable?)
future entry into the LSA market, Cessna Chairman, President and
CEO Jack J. Pelton called his company's all-aluminum Sport, the
airplane with ramp appeal "that puts a smile on your face."
Mexican Resort Ideal Destination For Mexico Flying
A beautiful white 1999 Cessna T206, tricked out with all the

the most unique flying destinations available to pilots. The
Hacienda de los Santos, or House of Saints, is a Spanish
colonial estate in a historic Mexican village about 300
nautical miles due south of Tucson, AZ.
Logs Missions 29 and 30 With Student Experiments
JP Aerospace (JPA) bills itself as America's OTHER space
program. It calls itself an independent space program -- a
volunteer-based organization that achieves access to space by just
doing it. In that spirit, JPA launched two missions on November 7,
Away Missions 29 and 30.

AOPA Expo 2006. In one of the morning's lighter moments, the
attendee commented he had the solution to dealing with Chicago's
2003 late-night destruction of Meigs Field -- "I would have just
shut down O'Hare."
