The National Air Traffic Controllers Association's election
committee announced Monday that Pat Forrey, an 18-year veteran air
traffic controller at Cleveland Air Route Traffic Control Center
and a two-term vice president of the National Air Traffic
Controllers Association’s Great Lakes Region, has won
election as NATCA president... defeating two-term incumbent John

The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) and
Experimental Aviation Association (EAA) announced at AirVenture
2006 last week the two organizations will partner to strengthen and
expand the availability of the AvKids (Aviation for Kids)

After having their search delayed for six months due to cold and
harsh conditions at the accident site, workers with the US Forest

Will Power The Team’s Modified Lancair 360 In The 2006
Reno Air Races
Superior Air Parts, a division of Thielert AG, tells ANN
that the Unleashed Racing Team has selected the brand new 400
cubic inch XP-400 Engine to power their modified Lancair 360 Sports
Class racer in this year’s Reno Air Races. Superior announced
the availability of the new XP-400 Engine in early April.
It's a 21st century sport for 21st century fans using 21st
century technology. And it portends to whoop the pants off of such
old (as in 20th century) entertainment sports like NASCAR, Formula
One, and Indy Car, with what will be a visually awesome fan
Oshkosh's siren song calls to a marvelously wide range of people
and personalities with interests so far-ranging it would be
impossible to list them all. Some come for the airplanes, some for
the vendors, some for the air show and some for the camaraderie of
years' long friendships renewed.
Turbocharged engines develop more power than natural air
pressure allows by compressing incoming air. So if the turbo fails,
just fly it as a normally aspirated engine to a place where it can
be fixed, right? Well...
Low Level Flight is performed at a constant airspeed and altitude.
Since terrain flight requires more attention to detail and the
fatigue factor is high, you must consider human factors such as
physical conditioning, creature comfort in the cockpit, physical
well being, and attitude.

Irrelevants, who 10 years ago formed a mutually beneficial truce
