PURSUANT TO 14 CFR SECTION 91.137(A)(2) TEMPORARY FLIGHT RESTRICTIONS ARE IN EFFECT 5 NAUTICAL MILE RADIUS AT AND BELOW 6000 FT MSL OF 341529N/1184345W AND THE VAN NUYS /VNY/ VORTAC 265 DEGREE RADIAL AT 12 NAUTICAL MILES TO PROVIDE A SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR FIRE FIGHTING OPERATIONS. THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF FORESTRY, PHONE 951-320-6176 (TOPANGA FIRE), IS IN CHARGE OF THE OPERATION. HAWTHORNE /HHR/ AFSS, PHONE 310-970-1341, IS THE FAA COORDINATION FACILITY.
