Fourth In A New Generation of High-Performance Kits Takes
On Saturday Jeff Edwards flew his new Evolution for the first
time.... Jeff and Shelby Edwards of Chesterfield, Missouri began
the construction of their PT6 powered Evolution kit with their two
week builder's assist program at the Lancair factory in May 2009
and then, assisted by Brian Harris (Composite Approach, Redmond,
OR) brought it to Saturday's first flight in only 8 months.
Pilots Reported "Tingling Sensation" In Hands And Feet
A Northwest Airlines flight en route to Cleveland from
Minneapolis diverted to Grand Rapid Michigan Wednesday night after
the pilot and co-pilot reported feeling a "tingling sensation" in
their hands and feet. Neither crewmember required hospitalization,
though one was taken off the aircraft on a stretcher.
Says Congress Using Passenger Rights Provisions To Support A
$44 Billion Boondoggle
The advocacy group Our Airspace is calling for essential policy
changes it says are needed to protect passenger safety and flyers
rights to be raised immediately as stand alone legislation, not
"buried" in an FAA reauthorization bill.
