Sierra Touts Citation Service Loaner Program

"Fly-Thru" Service Puts Customers In Re-engined Jets

Sierra Industries announced this week a unique new program that takes business jet maintenance to a higher level. Modeled after the type of service provided by premium automotive service centers, Sierra's new program provides a free loaner aircraft during maintenance events.

While customers have their Cessna Citation aircraft serviced, Sierra's "Fly-Thru" maintenance program provides them with a comparable aircraft -- perhaps even one of Sierra's re-engined FJ44 models -- to keep them on the move while they service their planes. The program is available with any Phase inspection or other significant maintenance event performed at Sierra's facility in Uvalde, TX.

"It's about time. Specifically, your time," the company writes. "Your ownership of a business aircraft demonstrates the high value of your time, and Sierra wants to help you maximize it. When your aircraft is out of service for a few days or weeks having routine maintenance or repairs performed, there's no longer any reason you have to be grounded, too.

"Let Sierra help you stay on the move during your next inspection."

The company readily admits an ulterior motive for offering the loaner-jet program. "Of course, after flying a Sierra Stallion or Super II for a little while, you may not want to give it back," Sierra notes. "We'd be happy to discuss that, too."
