Russian Aircraft Carrier To Serve As BizJet Refueling Mid-Point To Hawaii

04.01.06 'Special' Edition: An abandoned Russian aircraft carrier that was to be sunk as an artificial reef is, instead, being looked at by sales and marketing genius Gene Comfort, former Sr. VP of Sino Swearingen Aircraft as a mid-point landing, refueling and R&R point -- halfway to the Luau State.

It will be anchored some 1,100 miles from Los Angeles -- the mid-way point to Hawaii. Mr. Comfort stated “Now almost any jet or aircraft can fly to Hawaii. This is the most exciting thing in aviation advancements, ever."

Gene explained that since the company that operated the carrier (and had originally planned to sink it) is now bankrupt, they're hoping to minimize their acquistion costs by getting the carrier for free.

"When corporate jets land and refuel (who heretofore did not have the range for the Hawaii trip) – they'll pay a landing fee – as well as launch fees, re-fueling, etc. We will even have maintenance facilities below deck and a built-in fully operational control tower."

Comfort expanded his ideas for this venture by adding that, "We would like to look into having Paris Hilton refurbish and design the rooms so people can stay overnight if they wish. It will be like a cruise ship – surfing on board, pool, rock climbing, a casino, dancing, and more."

It's an interesting idea... and the irrepressible Comfort boasts that, "Everyone will want to go to Asia and Hawaii just to say they landed on an aircraft carrier. Special 'stop nets' and 'catapult launch systems' will accommodate virtually any size of aircraft."

"Aircraft will be lined up for hundreds of miles out on final – we will be billionaires. The news alone will rock the entire General Aviation world and make us billions overnight."

Comfort noted that, "Everyone will want a piece of the action, hotels – FBO’s, fuel Companies, airports, entertainment, Las Vegas casinos and more. The TV and movie rights will be locked up just for our company only. This would also make a great series on television for more bucks in our pockets and could launch a series such as 'Desperate Carrier Pilots'."
