Airborne 11.18.19: DeLand 2019, BelugaXL Cert, GAMA 3Q/19

The DeLand Sport Aviation Expo wrapped up Saturday, and despite uncooperative weather, organizers feel the show was a success. Jana Filip, Sport Aviation Administrator said the event, now in its fourth year, pretty much held its own compared to previous years. And even though temperatures were chilly, and there was off-and-on rain each day, it couldn't dampen the enthusiasm of the people who made the trip to central Florida. Insanely ugly but none-the-less lovable for its cargo carrying capabilities, the BelugaXL has received its Type Certification from EASA, paving the way for entry-into-service by early 2020.
