Former UAL Ops VP Krakowski Named FAA's Chief Operating Officer

On Monday, US Secretary of Transportation Mary Peters announced that Captain Henry P. (Hank) Krakowski has been selected to serve as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) air traffic organization.

Pemco Aviation Group has issued some comments on their unsuccessful bid to be selected as the recipient of the new KC-135 Programmed Depot Maintenance (PDM) contract from the United States Air Force. Aero-Terms!

A small fuel tank between the main tank and the carburetor. The purpose of the header tank is to ensure that the fuel fed to the carburetor is free of air bubbles, which can form in aerobatic flight.
