Maintenance TRACS Program Now In Second Year
The
National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) and its Maintenance
Committee congratulated 14 recipients of the 2007 Maintenance
Technical Reward and Career Scholarship (TRACS) at NBAA's
Maintenance Management Conference in San Diego, CA.
The Maintenance TRACS program, currently in its second year, is
sponsored by the business aviation industry. Included among the
program's supporters are aircraft, engine and avionics
manufacturers, maintenance training providers, and industry
sponsors, according to an NBAA press release.
The 2007 Maintenance TRACS recipients and their courses are as
follows:

- Steve Church - CornerStone Strategies, PDP Course

The Maintenance Technical Reward and Career Scholarship is open
to current and future A&P holders and other individuals
interested in developing technical and professional career paths in
business aviation maintenance. Award recipients are able to attend
model-specific courses at aircraft, engine and avionics training
centers.
Sponsors of the Maintenance TRACS program include: Bombardier
Aerospace, Cessna Aircraft, CornerStone Strategies, FlightSafety
International, GE Engines, Global Jet Services, Gulfstream
Aerospace, Honeywell, Inc., Rolls-Royce and Sino Swearingen.
Applications for the 2008 Maintenance TRACS awards will be
available in summer 2007. The NBAA also offers several other
scholarships to promote professional development and business
aviation careers.
