AEA Offers Cost-Effective Training Program Solutions for Repair Stations

First Compliance Deadline Nears

The Aircraft Electronics Association conducted the first in a series of seminars designed to help Part 145 repair stations of all types develop and manage their soon-to-be required training programs. The one-day seminar takes the complexity and confusion out of the regulatory guidance material and demonstrates cost-effective and efficient measures to comply with the new rule.

Nearly 70 workshop attendees, including FAA personnel, repair station owners/managers, training directors and quality directors convened on the campus of Tarrant County College in Fort Worth, Texas, in late January, to learn how to perform needs assessments, develop courses, properly identify training needs, sources and methods, and learn proper documentation practices.

In addition to leaving with a better understanding of the scope of the new rule and the best methods to comply, workshop attendees received a free copy of AEA’s newly released Repair Station Training Program Development CD. The CD, which includes access to AEA’s exclusive Repair Station Training Program Development Tool, dissects the inspector’s guidance material, breaks down the Advisory Circular and helps write the training program.

The CD and the three remaining seminars are available at a fraction of the cost of many other commercially available offerings.
