Dean Bryan Moya, and Richard Allen Vickery, both from Hemet, California have been charged with one count each of possession with intent to distribute cocaine.

Television station WIBW reports that the Department of Homeland Security tracked the airplane from northern New Mexico, and alerted local authorities in Liberal that Moya, the pilot, was operating the aircraft with a medical certificate that had been revoked due to drug use. Moya and Vickery were arrested at a local hotel after drug-sniffing dogs alerted authorities to the presence of drugs on the plane, and a search warrant was executed. The cocaine was found in two suitcases on board the aircraft.

Eric Wayne McPeters, also from Helmet, is also named in the indictment. He was not on board the aircraft when it landed in Kansas.
