Making The Knee Board Obsolete

iChart App Turns The iPad Into An EFB

The first application from FlightPrep for the Apple iOS platform is iChart for the iPad. The iChart application allows pilots to turn their Apple iPad into an Electronic Flight Bag (EFB), giving them access to Sectionals, Terminal Area Charts (TACs), Low Enroutes, and Approach Plates – all at their finger tips.

Blending the user interface of the Apple iOS with FlightPrep’s years of experience building usable cockpit applications, iChart gives pilots an easy and straightforward chart management solution for the cockpit. By placing airport information, navigation charts, approach plates, airport diagrams, and more, iChart can increase situational awareness without increase the pilot’s workload during flight.

Available in the Apple iTunes App store as a free download, iChart comes with a 30-day trial subscription. An annual subscription service of $49.99 is required to keep the navigation data up-to-date after the trial period. Current Full US-CONUS VFR+IFR subscribers can use their existing subscription with the iChart application at no additional charge.
