Goodrich Offers 737 and 777 Landing Gear Rotables As Overhaul Exchanges

Program Available For Airline-Owned Jetliners

Goodrich Corporation's Landing Gear business has signed an innovative agreement with an unnamed major airline in which Goodrich will use the airline's rotable landing gear as part of its landing gear overhaul services. Under the agreement, Goodrich will offer the rotables as exchange units to other airlines that purchase landing gear overhaul services. Aircraft types covered are Boeing Next Generation 737-700/800/900 models and 777-200ER models.

"This agreement demonstrates our commitment to provide innovative, flexible solutions in a very challenging and competitive environment," said Mike Secord, vice president, Goodrich Landing Gear Aftermarket. "The airline that owns the rotable landing gear sets will receive an improved return on its assets while allowing Goodrich to provide effective exchange solutions to those operators that do not have their own assets. Providing quicker availability of landing gear overhauls can minimize downtime and dramatically improve our customers' return on investment."

Goodrich is the original equipment manufacturer and one of the world's largest overhaul service providers for landing gear on virtually every Boeing airliner in service today including the 737, 747, 757, 767 and 777 families of aircraft.
