Top EC Air Transport, EASA, Eurocontrol, FAA Officials To Attend EBACE2005

Government Officials Will Top Roster Of Industry Leaders Addressing Timely Topics

The European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) and the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) say several top government officials from Europe and the U.S. will be in attendance at this year's European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE2005), the only major European event focused solely on business aviation.

Among those who have confirmed their attendance at EBACE2005 are:

European Commission Air Transport Director Daniel Calleja Crespo; European Aviation Safety Agency Rule Making Director Claude Probst; Eurocontrol Director ATM Strategies Bo Redeborn; and a representative with the Federal Aviation Administration.

Several of these officials will be on hand for the EBACE2005 Opening General Session, which will take place on Wednesday, May 18, 2005, from 1030 - 1145 in Ballroom B at the Geneva Palexpo Conference Center. The session will be moderated by EBAA CEO Brian M. Humphries and NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen. The session, entitled "The Changing Face of Aviation Infrastructure in Europe," will focus on business aviation trends, regulatory and legislative developments and other matters impacting the industry.

Members of the media are invited to attend the Opening General Session. Press badges are required to gain entry into the Opening General Session, the exhibit hall, the static display and all technical meetings. Badges will be issued at no charge to editors, reporters and camera personnel in the EBACE2005 Press Room. A press card or suitable identification must be presented to obtain a press badge.
