The petition supporting the Planes of Fame Air Museum Air Show has crossed the 15,000 signature mark, on the way to 25,000. In an update, Planes of Fame Executive Director Steve Hinton said the museum is moving ahead with all plans and preparations for the show, which will continue "until the court tells us otherwise." Comments and letters have come from people in our own community, all over the state of California, the midwest and east coast, and places like Australia, New Zealand, Denmar

Luka Branca, Director of Business Development for Palu, told Aero-News CEO and Editor in Chief Jim Campbell at Heli-EXPO 2017, in Dallas, that Angels is a precision, ground-based approach system. It downlinks data from the helicopter to the ground station, which makes a predictive elaboration of the data and uplinks it back to the aircraft giving lateral and vertical alignment.

Pilot Fatally Injured When The Plane Went Down Just After Takeoff On First Flight After Restoration

The NTSB has released its preliminary report from an accident which occurred on April 8 at about 1256 EDT. A Piper PA-12 Super Cruiser was destroyed by impact and a postcrash fire after takeoff from Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB), Orlando, Florida. The airline transport pilot flying the plane was fatally injured. VFR conditions prevailed and no flight plan was filed for the local personal flight.
