There is some spectacular video making the rounds on the Internet Tuesday of an LOT 767 making a gear-up landing in Warsaw, Poland. All 230 people on board the airliner were evacuated with no injuries.

Self-Defense Training Offered For Cabin Crews

Program Backed By TSA's Federal Air Marshal Service

The modern airline travel environment has become more stressful for passengers, and it's having implications for cabin crew members. The Workforce Development Center at Bunker Hill Community College is offering a Crew Member Self-Defense Training (CMSDT) program for all actively employed flight and cabin crew members of US passenger and cargo carriers. F-35 integrated test force personnel and F-35C test aircraft CF-3 returned to NAS Patuxent River last week after completing two major catapult test events. Starting this past summer, the test team put the carrier variant of the Joint Strike Fighter through its first set of catapult launches. The goal was to complete an initial structural survey of the aircraft to withstand launch stresses and the impact of steam ingestion into the engine.
