The six members of the STS-130 crew climbed aboard space shuttle

New Aircraft Built Under Original FAA Typer Certificate
The folks at WACO Classic tell ANN that they are nearing
certification of their D-model aircraft based on a half-century old
design. The WACO Classic YMF 5-D sports a larger engine, electronic
engine instruments, and an MT Taper Tip Propeller.
Copa Claims One Of The Youngest Fleets In The
Copa Airlines, has taken delivery of two new Boeing 737-800
aircraft as part of its ongoing fleet expansion. With the addition
of these aircraft the airline says it is continuing to expand its
"Hub of the Americas", increasing both the number
of flights and destinations.
NASA unveiled a new concept in personal transportation at the
American Helicopter Society convention in San Francisco Wednesday.
The electric-powered single "place" aircraft with a 13-foot
wingspan is designed to take off and land vertically, and cruise at
New Organizational Structure Mirrors Government
The AOPA has realigned its Government Affairs division. The
organization says the new structure aligns areas of responsibility
along natural regulatory lines by mirroring the organizational
structure of government agencies.
A Panel Of Industry Leaders Will Address The Conference Annual
Attendees at the Women in Aviation, International (WAI)
Conference will have the opportunity to hear the opinions of four
noted industry leaders during a panel discussion at the
Conference's annual luncheon.
